A Prayer of Salvation
Father in heaven,
You so loved me that you gave your only begotten son to die on the cross that I might not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) Lord Jesus, you were crucified and buried. You rose from the dead after three days and you are alive now, sitting at the Father's right hand in glory and you are coming again.
Father, I accept your word that "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) I have broken your Law. I have not kept your commandments. You said you came to save sinners. (Mat. 9:13, 1 Tim. 1:1) You died for the ungodly. (Rom. 5:6) I am a sinner (Psalm 51:4,5, Psalm 53:2,3) in need of your salvation. I ask you to grant me repentance from all my sin and permit me to receive from you the gift of eternal life in Christ Jesus my Lord.
You said that, "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Rom. 8:11-13) I know now that I can do nothing to save myself. You died on the cross and shed your blood for me. You paid for and took away all my sin and iniquity. I call on your name right now. Lord Jesus, save me! I believe in you now and believe that you died on the cross in my place, to pay the price for and take away all my sin.
I now confess you, Jesus, as my Messiah, the Christ of God, God the Son come in the flesh, and my Lord and Savior. I believe in my heart that you rose from the dead. (Rom. 8:9,10) I receive you now by faith and I receive your free gift of eternal life with you in heaven forever. I yield my life to you now in obedience to the Father.
Thank you for making me your child, for giving me new birth from above. I will not perish, but have eternal life because you have given me faith to believe in you and what you did for me on the cross. (John 1:9-13 & 3:14-18) Whereas I was before a child of wrath, you have by your grace and mercy made me alive together with you and raised me up to sit with you in heaven. (Eph. 2:1-9) Thank you for putting my name in your Book of Life. Thank you for coming to live in me now, for giving me your life in exchange for my old life and for giving me the gift of the Holy Spirit. (John 14:16-18, 1 John 5:6,7)
I completely trust you for the salvation you have given me this day and for giving me the home you have prepared for me in heaven with you forever. (John 14:1-3) I also ask you now to fill me with the Holy Spirit.

A Short Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus,I am a lost sinner in need in need of the Savior. I believe that you died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sin with your own blood and that you rose from the dead after three days. Lord Jesus, I receive you as my Lord and savior now. I believe in you now. By your grace I turn away from all of my sin to you, Lord Jesus. I confess you, Lord Jesus, as my only Lord and Savior. I receive you now Lord Jesus. Thank you for saving me, for coming in to me, and for giving me the gift of eternal life now and in heaven forever. Thank you, Lord Jesus!
